NBA’s Silver “Open” to NBA Subsidizing Student-Athletes

Fox Sports.com reported National Basketball Association (NBA) commissioner Adam Silver, who “is an advocate for raising the league’s age limit,” believes “his latest idea may help players want to stay in school a little longer.” Specifically, according to the April 9, 2014, article, Silver is “open to dialogue with NBA players and NCAA officials about the possibility of subsidizing college athletes.”
